If you’ve ever had a traditional dental impression taken, you likely remember the uncomfortable, gooey putty and the overwhelming urge to gag. Fortunately, those days are over.
At Carrum Downs Family Dental, we are proud to bring cutting-edge digital dentistry to the Carrum Downs community.
The Power of Intraoral Scanners
We have replaced traditional molds with state-of-the-art intraoral scanners. In just a few minutes, this small wand captures thousands of images to create a highly accurate, 3D digital map of your mouth. It is completely painless, fast, and entirely gag-free.
Faster, Locally Made Results
Many standard clinics send their impressions to offshore labs, leaving you waiting weeks for a crown or splint. Because we utilize digital files, we instantly transmit your scans to our dedicated Melbourne-based laboratory. This allows us to rapidly 3D print or mill your custom restorations locally, ensuring a perfect fit and a much faster turnaround time.
Experience the future of comfortable, precise dental care. Book your next appointment at Carrum Downs Family Dental today.
